hello all

I don't really have much to report but I too am doing my bit to keep the blog alive, and I like Aurore's baby analogy, although the daily care may be asking a bit much! Also we may not be hearing much from Aylin for a while as she will be very busy....... ;-)

Currently I am 'Acting team leader' at work -what a stupid title! It sounds as though it's a football game! So I'm getting paid more money to only work 4 days a week and to attend often seemingly pointless meetings. But is good to occasionally make some real decisions.

The most exciting thing that has happened recently has been totally non work or study related - I've decided to extend my trip to France and stay for a full month so I'm there for our one year anniversary - who would have ever thought that would happen?!! So then it will be my turn, and Aurore's!, to be far too busy to post an update!

On the study front I am about half way through writing a review of 'The Cross Goes North' for a local journal. I won't hear about my phd applications until Christmas/New Year.

It's starting to heat up here with a few days in the mid 30's, so I suspect that summer may be hot. And unlike Europe our seasons start on the first of the month, so summer begins on dec 1.

Helio, if I'm ever in Portugal I'll have to time it to visit you and go to that fair!!
